In every country there safe places and less safe places. However, it must be said that Cuba is as safe as cities such as Munich. You can walk around in the middle of the night and will happen at all. And in Munich there are policemen in Cuba ..... in every corner However, there are places which are less secure, as some cities, district of old Havana, there should be careful even on the bag and the digital camera.
